Get to know Rachel
My objective and mission is to help you grow, heal and be successful in your life. I will support you on your path of enhancing your journey and achieving your goals.
This has always been my aim both, in my previous medical career and currently as a therapist. I feel very fortunate to have this opportunity to do what I really love.
Having moved multiple times in my life, I speak a number of languages and have been exposed to various cultures. This has helped instill in me the belief that each individual is truly unique, which is an essential aspect of my practice.
Being proficient in multiple approaches to therapy gives me the knowledge, freedom and flexibility to address my client’s challenges in an individual manner, rather than a “one size fits all” method.
I obtained a Master of Social Work degree at Wayne University in Detroit and am trained in several modalities such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Psychodynamics, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behavior Therapy for Insomnia and EMDR .
While I utilize each of the above therapy methods as needed by the client, my training in IFS (Internal Family Systems), brought on a strong passion to help individuals who need it, with this modality.
